Promeuraz (the Promethean Institute for Eurasian Studies – Promeuraz) respects the privacy of visitors, readers, contributors, and prospective contributors. Promeuraz may use information submitted to us to:

• maintain editorial and institutional records;

• publish author names, biographies, and photographs when appropriate and authorized;

• attribute published work to its author;

• promote published work and identify or tag contributors on third-party platforms when the contributor has elected to participate;

• operate, maintain, and improve Promeuraz's website, publications, and related activities; and

• comply with applicable legal obligations or protect the legitimate interests of Promeuraz, its contributors, and its readers.

Promeuraz does not sell personal information.

3. Contributor Profiles and Public Information

Prospective contributors may be given the option to be featured on the Promeuraz website or identified in connection with the promotion of their work.

When a contributor elects to participate, Promeuraz may publicly display information such as the contributor's name, professional biography, photograph, authorship information, or other information provided for that purpose.

Contributors may also choose whether they wish to be identified or tagged in promotional activity on third-party platforms such as LinkedIn.

Information intentionally published in connection with an article, contributor profile, or other Promeuraz publication may remain part of the public and historical publication record.

4. Editorial Records and Retention

Article pitches and information associated with submissions are retained indefinitely as part of Promeuraz's editorial and institutional records.

Promeuraz maintains these records to preserve its publication history, document editorial activity, administer relationships with contributors, and maintain an institutional archive.

Information associated with published articles and contributors may likewise be retained as part of Promeuraz's permanent publication and editorial record.

5. Google and Other Third-Party Services

Promeuraz uses third-party services to operate portions of its online activities. The Promeuraz website is hosted using Google Sites, and contributor proposals may be collected using Google Forms and related Google services.

Information submitted through these services may therefore be processed or stored by Google in accordance with Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.

Promeuraz publications and promotional activities may also link to or make use of independent third-party services such as Medium, Substack, and LinkedIn. These services operate independently from Promeuraz and maintain their own privacy policies, terms, and data practices.

Promeuraz does not control the privacy or data-processing practices of independent third-party services.

The Promeuraz website and its publications may contain links to external websites, publications, social-media platforms, research resources, and other third-party services.
